Book update…. one day I will finish it!

At the end of 2025, I always spend some time reflecting on the year and praying for the new year ahead and where God would like my business to move and review some of my own more personal ‘passion projects’, reflecting on last year, I had spoken about the book that I was writing and to myself had placed an overly ambitious timeline; the reality is I’m 100% solo parent, trying to juggle the, what can often feel, increasing number of ‘hats’, I wear and well, the book has taken not even second place, it’s waaaayyyy down the daily list and quite frankly I still cannot say when it will actually be ready for it’s first full edit, let alone ready to publish;

But, with that, I can reflect on the journey of book writing and it has been so good and perhaps that’s the point sometimes, it’s not always the end but the journey that is to be enjoyed, and to hold gratitude for the growth and learning that comes from the process of writing. .

I’m enjoying the learning which helps develop this book as much as my work.   Alongside it all, I have been undertaking ministry training for the last 2 years-ish and as this is a faith based book, although I would argue great for anyone! this has been helping shape the book and enriching it’s content.

So I am praying about it, taking my time, enjoying the writing and even having a laugh creating mock up covers. When it finally does come out it will be at the right time.
